Safe Brain Organization is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting child and youth mental health and well-being through advocacy, evidence-based policies and culturally appropriate interventions. We envision a world where all children and young people can access the tools and infrastructure needed to transform their mental health and well-being. We work across three key areas: - Policy and Advocacy: We influence policy decisions and advocate for change to prioritize child and youth mental health. - Programs and Services: We deliver integrated programs and services to promote and protect mental health, prevent and treat mental health conditions, and support children, adolescents, and their families. - Research and Development: We generate high-quality research evidence and develop innovative solutions to inform public health policy action and transform mental health and wellbeing.

Founder & CEO, Safe Brain Organization

Dr. Muftau Mohammed is a visionary leader and renowned expert in global child and adolescent mental health. As a multi-awarded Consultant Psychiatrist, he has dedicated his career to bridging the care gap for mental, neurological, and substance use disorders worldwide.

Education & Expertise

Dr. Mohammed holds postgraduate degrees from King's College London, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His extensive clinical, research, and field experience has equipped him with a unique understanding of the complexities of mental health in diverse settings.

Innovative Solutions

Dr. Mohammed is the architect of the groundbreaking Safe Brain Innovation, an evidence-based teacher training program that supports children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and transforms their educational outcomes.
